NEW DELHI. Shri Bhupender Gupta, CMD, NHPC, along with Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects), met Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, in New Delhi on 4 November 2026 to discuss the development of the Masinta Pumped Storage Project (PSP) and other hydropower and floating solar projects in the state. The Deputy Chief Minister assured NHPC of full support and necessary assistance from the Odisha Government to facilitate the projects. Shri Vishal Kumar Dev, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary (Electronics & IT and Energy), Odisha, and Shri Amiya Kumar Mohanty, Director (Operations), OHPC Ltd., were also present at the meeting.
