HAL to Acquire CAE Canada’s 50% Stake in HATSOFF, Making It a Wholly-Owned Subsidiary

HAL Acquires CAE Canada 50% Stake in HATSOFF

BANGALORE. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has informed the stock exchanges that the Board of HATSOFF Helicopter Training Private Limited has approved the transfer of the entire 50% equity stake held by CAE Canada to HAL. Under the proposed transaction, 3,84,04,205 equity shares of HATSOFF, each having a face value of ₹10, will be transferred from CAE Canada to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. The acquisition will enable HAL to take complete ownership of the helicopter training company.

Following the completion of the share transfer, HATSOFF Helicopter Training Private Limited will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of HAL. The development follows HAL’s earlier stock exchange intimation dated 2 October 2026 regarding the signing of an agreement with CAE Canada for acquiring its 50% stake in the joint venture. The move marks a further step in HAL’s efforts to strengthen its control over helicopter training operations and expand its capabilities in the aviation training segment.
