ROURKELA. Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) informed that Mr. Dillip Kumar Mishra has taken over as Executive Director (Materials Management) at Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on November 2, 2026. A seasoned industry veteran holding a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, Mr. Mishra began his journey at RSP in 1994 as an Assistant Manager and progressively advanced to senior leadership roles before gaining extensive cross-plant experience across SAIL’s Durgapur and Salem units in operations, ironmaking, and services management. Returning to RSP with over three decades of core manufacturing and operational expertise, Mr. Mishra’s leadership is expected to strengthen supply chain logistics, optimize raw material management, and enhance procurement efficiency across the plant’s integrated operations.
