BONGAIGAON. NTPC Bongaigaon has inaugurated a major infrastructure project executed at a cost of Rs 1.80 crore at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) in Balijan, Arunachal Pradesh, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The project introduces five new classrooms, advanced science laboratories, and an upgraded library to provide students with access to modern learning tools. The facilities were officially inaugurated by Shri Nabam Vivek, Hon’ble MLA of the 14th Doimukh Constituency, alongside Shri Takar Rava, ADC Balijan, NTPC officials, and Smt. Sujatha Nayak, Secretary of VKV Balijan, in a ceremony attended by the local community. While the new laboratories will offer practical learning opportunities to cultivate a scientific temperament, the upgraded library will serve as a vital knowledge hub. This educational investment is strategically designed to strengthen academic capacity and act as a powerful catalyst for long-term social transformation, reinforcing NTPC Bongaigaon’s corporate dedication to driving inclusive regional growth through impactful community initiatives.
