New Delhi: NTPC Limited has launched the Prime Minister Internship Scheme, announcing over 3,000 internship opportunities for young candidates interested in gaining certified industry experience in the energy sector. The programme is open to applicants aged 18 to 25, with qualifications ranging from Class 10 pass to postgraduate level. Final-year students can also apply with a No Objection Certificate from their institution.
The initiative aims to provide practical exposure to India’s growing energy sector and help youth build job-ready skills. Applicants must not have any family member in government service and should not be enrolled in any other apprenticeship scheme. The internship is designed to support career development while contributing to the country’s power and sustainability goals.
