KOKRAJHAR. NTPC Bongaigaon observed the 55th National Safety Day with a series of events led by Shri Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, to strengthen safety awareness and operational discipline. The observance began with the unfurling of the Safety Flag and a collective safety pledge administered to employees, CISF personnel, and contract workers. During the ceremony, senior officials emphasized that safety is a shared responsibility, urging strict adherence to protocols across all departments to ensure a hazard-free workplace and continued operational excellence.
The program featured a knowledge-sharing forum where various agencies and site teams discussed best practices for proactive risk management and hazard identification. To further engage the workforce, the station organized safety-related competitions and presented awards to those demonstrating exemplary adherence to safety standards. With over 200 participants, the event highlighted NTPC Bongaigaon’s ongoing dedication to fostering a safety-first culture through continuous education and robust infrastructure management.
