SHIMLA. SJVN Limited, a leading Navratna CPSE, held its 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM). CMD, Shri Bhupender Gupta addressed the shareholders and outlined operational, financial and strategic achievements of the company in FY 2024–25.
In FY 2024–25, SJVN achieved its highest-ever generation of 10,647 MU, with record outputs from Nathpa Jhakri, Rampur, and Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Stations. Revenue rose to ₹2,897.25 crore and PAT to ₹970.18 crore, reflecting strong financial performance and robust receivables management. The company earned Navratna status on 30th August 2024, underscoring its operational and financial excellence. Installed capacity reached 2,967.52 MW, with the first unit of 660 MW Buxar Thermal Project synchronized and inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister in August 2025. SJVN spent ₹31.24 crore on CSR and maintained an ‘Excellent’ corporate governance rating. For FY 2025–26, it targets 13,090 MU generation and ₹12,000 crore Capex, reaffirming its commitment to clean energy and national growth.
