GAIL hosted the “Udyam se Udaan” Vendor Development Program at the GAIL Training Institute, Noida. The event aimed to empower MSEs owned by SC/ST individuals and women entrepreneurs. The event, themed “Udyam se Udaan” provided a platform for knowledge sharing, business opportunities, and nurturing inclusivity in public procurement.
The event featured many activities including expert-led sessions from organizations – National SC/ST Hub, Government e-Marketplace (GeM), and C2TReDS, a Session on business opportunities for MSEs at GAIL, Insights into Purchase Preference Policies for MSEs, Information on GAIL’s dedicated Vendor Portal, sessions on bidding, contract execution, and GAIL’s policy initiatives supporting MSE growth.
The event was graced by GAIL’s senior leadership, including Shri S. Halder, Executive Director (C&P); Shri A. K. Tripathi, Executive Director (Projects); Shri S. S. Agrawal, Executive Director (O&M); Shri A. K. Naskar, Executive Director (Petrochemical); and Shri S. Agarwal, Executive Director (Training). With over 100 MSE business partners and stakeholders, the event reinforced GAIL’s dedication to empowering entrepreneurs and driving inclusive growth.
