Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) of SAIL has significantly contributed to India’s infrastructure through ERW and Spiral Welded Pipes. In the last fiscal, RSP supplied over 41,000 ERW pipes (37,000 tonnes) for NTPC sites and other state projects. Additionally, 18,500 Spiral Welded Pipes (27,000 tonnes) supported national water and urban development initiatives. Notably, RSP’s pipes have been crucial in projects like NTPC’s Talcher and Simhadri sites, demonstrating their impact on power, water, and environmental sectors across India.
