Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 300 MW Nokhra Solar Project of NTPC Green Energy Limited through video conferencing. Situated in Bikaner, Rajasthan, the project, under the CPSU Scheme (Phase-II), involves a Rs. 1,803 crore investment to provide green power to Telangana. Spanning 1,550 acres, it will annually generate 730 million Units, lighting over 1.3 lakh households and reducing 6 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions. With over 13 lakh solar PV modules installed under Make in India, the project supports NTPC’s commitment to a cleaner, sustainable energy future.
