Under the UDAN scheme, 519 routes have been operationalized, with 76 airports, 2 water aerodromes, and 9 heliports currently active. Four airports are ready for RCS flights, while 9 others await licensing. Development is underway for 17 airports/heliports, and planning is ongoing for the remainder. Unfortunately, 18 airports, including 2 water aerodromes, are temporarily non-operational due to various reasons, such as airline shutdowns and maintenance challenges. Minister Dr. V. K.
