The two public sector giants formalized their partnership on June 22, 2026, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding to build large-scale solar, wind, and hybrid power facilities, which may include advanced battery and pumped storage systems. According to NLC India’s Chairman and Managing Director, Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, this collaboration marks a critical milestone in the company’s strategic shift toward clean energy and directly supports the nation’s sustainable development goals.
