Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has provided a financial contribution of ₹47 lakhs to the Akshaya Patra Foundation, an initiative by ISKCON, to support their Mid-Day Meal Program. This funding will provide hot, nutritious meals to approximately 2,500 students from various schools in the vicinity of MRPL, ensuring that they receive daily mid-day meals throughout the academic year.
Prashanth Baliga GM (CSR) of MRPL handed over LOI of Rs 47 Lakh to the representatives of Akshaya Patra Foundation on the occasion. MRPL Officer Steevan Pinto was present.
