NEW DELHI. Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry has appointed Anant Swarup, a 1992-batch IRPS officer, as its Secretary General with effect from April 15, 2026, while Jyoti Vij continues as Director General. Swarup brings over three decades of experience in public policy, trade, logistics, and regulatory reforms, having earlier served as Director General of Trade Remedies, Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Executive Director to the Union Railway Minister, and India’s representative at the WTO in Geneva.
