NEW DELHI. Indira Gandhi International Airport, operated by Delhi International Airport Limited, has won the ‘Best Airport of the Year’ award at Wings India 2026, presented by Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad. The four-day aviation event is organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and FICCI. InterGlobe Services Limited, the parent company of IndiGo Airlines, received the Best Aviation Service Provider award, while Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, was recognised as the Best Airport in the above 25 million passengers per annum category. Other award-winning airports included Pune in the 10–25 million passengers category, Lucknow in the 5–10 million category, Port Blair in the below 5 million category, and Holongi Airport in Itanagar under the UDAN scheme.
