KOLKATA. As part of the ongoing three-month campaign on Preventive Vigilance Awareness, Coal India Limited organized a one-day seminar on “Probity for Prosperity”—the theme for this year’s Vigilance Awareness Week—at its corporate office in Kolkata. Addressing the gathering, Chairman Shri B. Sairam emphasized that vigilance serves as a system’s “third eye,” enhancing efficiency and driving organizational prosperity. Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Shri Brajesh Kumar Tripathy highlighted the importance of embedding ethical values into corporate culture through the mantra of “Reform, Perform, Transform & Inform.” Attended by Director (Marketing & HR) Shri Mukesh Choudhary, Director (Business Development) Shri Asheesh Kumar, and CVOs from subsidiaries SCCL and NIC, the event featured insightful sessions by Shri Himanshu Vishnoi on core tenets of probity, B.K. Asmita Didi on self-reflection and spiritual ethics, and Dr. Rahul Awasthi through mythological anecdotes and poetry.
