NEW DELHI: Shri Saleem Ahmad, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), has been entrusted with the additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of IRCON International Limited (IRCON) for a period of one year with effect from July 1, 2026. The appointment comes as IRCON continues to execute major rail, transport and infrastructure projects across India and overseas.
A seasoned railway professional with extensive experience in project execution, infrastructure development and public sector leadership, Ahmad is expected to provide continuity in leadership while supporting IRCON’s growth and strategic priorities. The move reflects the government’s continued emphasis on strengthening leadership across key public sector enterprises that are playing a critical role in India’s infrastructure modernisation and connectivity initiatives.
