NEW DELHI. NTA Cancels NEET (UG) 2026 Amid Paper Leak Allegations; CBI Probe Ordered
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially canceled the NEET (UG) 2026 exam held earlier this month following serious allegations of a paper leak and concerns over the integrity of the testing system. To ensure a thorough investigation, the government has handed the case over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), with the NTA pledging full cooperation and access to all necessary records. While a new date for the re-examination will be announced soon, students do not need to worry about extra paperwork or costs; all original registrations, candidate details, and exam centers will remain the same, and no additional fees will be charged for the retake.
