NEW DELHI.The Government of India has approved the permanent absorption of Shalabh Goel, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE), as Managing Director of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).
To facilitate this transition, the President has accepted his technical resignation from the services of the Ministry of Railways with effect from April 24, 2026. Following this approval, he will be deemed to have retired from Railway service on the same date, enabling his full-time leadership role at NCRTC.
