NEW DELHI. NTPC Limited has issued a clarification that it has not yet commenced any feasibility studies for establishing a nuclear power project in Bihar.
In response to a media report suggesting that the company is exploring the development of two nuclear power units of 1,400 MW each in Banka district, Bihar.
The company has clarified that, as part of its routine business operations and long-term strategic planning, it continuously evaluates multiple options and potential locations for future growth and diversification, including exploratory assessments in various states such as Bihar.
