India to Establish National Aviation Safety Centre for Training Investigators

India will establish a national aviation safety centre to train aircraft accident investigators and aviation professionals, aligning with global best practices, Civil Aviation Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha announced. The centre aims to enhance safety standards and strengthen the country’s aviation oversight capabilities. Sinha also stated that the number of professionals in regulatory and investigation roles is being doubled to meet the growing demands of the aviation sector and ensure a more robust and efficient safety management framework across the industry.
