CCL Launches Special Cover Dedicated to Coal Warriors organised 'National PR Conclave–2025'

RANCHI. The two-day “National PR Conclave–2025,” organized by Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), concluded successfully at the Gangotri Convention Centre, CCL Headquarters, Ranchi. The conclave, themed “Redefining PR: From Information to Engagement in the Era of Digitalization,” brought together eminent PR professionals, media experts, academicians, and students to deliberate on the evolving dynamics of communication in the digital age.

Ms. Inu Majumdar, CEO of Radio Orange, Nagpur, inaugurated the second day with a session on “The Role of Radio: Information to Engagement, Especially in Rural Areas.” She emphasized that radio continues to serve as an emotional bridge in rural India and remains one of the most powerful tools for awareness and behavioural change.

Dr. Sameer Kapoor, Director, Adfactors, Delhi, discussed the “New Age of PR in the Changing Digital World,” underlining that modern PR must blend strategy with empathy as digital media and influencers redefine communication landscapes.

A session on “Relevance of Customised Stamp for Coal Industry in the Golden Jubilee Year” saw the release of a Special Cover and souvenir “Navchetna,” dedicated to the “Coal Warriors” of Coal India and CCL. The release was jointly conducted by Shri Nilendu Kumar Singh, CMD, CCL; Shri Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Finance); Shri Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (HR); and Shri R.V. Chaudhary, Director, Postal Services, Jharkhand.

Mr. Singh remarked that a postage stamp is a symbol of emotion and connection, even in the digital age. Mr. Mishra highlighted PR’s vital role as a bridge between institutions and the public.

Other sessions featured Dr. Vikas Pathe of IIM Ranchi and Mr. Sanjeev Shekhar of Adani Power Ltd., who emphasized adaptability and positive media engagement. Advertising veteran Mr. Prahlad Kakkar concluded the event with an inspiring interactive session with students.

Delivering the vote of thanks, Shri Alok Kumar Gupta, Head (CC & PR), CCL, said the conclave served as a confluence of ideas shaping the future of PR in India.
