SHIMLA. SJVN has extended financial support of Rs 25.44 lakh to Municipal Corporation, Shimla for procurement of two eco-friendly Electric Solid Waste Management Vehicles. “The deployment of these EVs will significantly strengthen Shimla’s cleanliness drive by enabling zero-emission garbage collection and contributing to improved air quality. The initiative is a part of ‘Clean Green Festivities – Eco-friendly and zero-waste celebrations’, one of the five key pillars of ‘Swacchotsav’, the theme of this year’s Swachhta Hi Sewa campaign. By supporting sustainable waste management solutions, SJVN reaffirms its commitment to environmental stewardship and corporate social responsibility.
