The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rubber, Chemical & Petrochemical Skill Development Council (RCPSDC) to enhance the supply chain for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across India. The non-commercial agreement, formalized on September 11, 2024, aims to provide MSMEs with better access to a broader range of rubber, chemical, and polymer products, thereby fostering growth and increasing competitiveness within the industry.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Avinash Choudhary, General Manager (RMD) of NSIC, and Shri Saif Mohammad, CEO of RCPSDC, in the presence of Dr. S.S. Acharya, CMD of NSIC, and Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (Planning & Marketing), NSIC Ltd. Senior officials from both organizations.
This strategic partnership aims to expand NSIC’s supplier network, ensuring that MSMEs have access to high-quality materials essential for their operations. By empowering MSMEs with improved resources, the collaboration seeks to strengthen the overall supply chain, enabling businesses to enhance their productivity and competitiveness in the domestic and international markets.
Dr. S.S. Acharya, CMD of NSIC, hailed the partnership as a crucial step towards supporting the growth of MSMEs in India. “This collaboration with RCPSDC will open new opportunities for MSMEs to access quality materials, improve their competitiveness, and contribute to the nation’s industrial development,” he said.
The MoU marks a significant move towards fostering innovation and growth in India’s MSME sector, particularly in the rubber, chemical, and polymer industries, which play a vital role in the country’s manufacturing landscape.
