NEW DELHI. September 11-2025. A national program on “Labour Law Reforms in India – Navigating a Way Forward Against the Headwinds” was held in New Delhi, inaugurated by the Attorney General of India, Shri R. Venkataramani. In his address, he underlined the need to balance dignity with progress, tracing the ideological roots of labour laws to Marxian thought. “The essence of labour law lies in reconciling human dignity with the nation’s progress,” he said.
