THDC India Limited Honoured with 'Rajbhasha Jyoti Shield' for Excellence in Official Language Implementation

Rishikesh: THDC India Limited has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Rajbhasha Jyoti Shield’ for its outstanding performance in implementing the Official Language Policy during the year 2023–24. The award was presented during the meeting of the Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Power.

The Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal, presented the award. Shri R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), along with Shri Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), received the award on behalf of THDC India Limited.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for Power; Shri Pankaj Agarwal (IAS), Secretary (Power); Shri Dheeraj Kumar Srivastava, Chief Engineer (In-charge, Official Language); as well as senior officials and representatives from various offices and Public Sector Undertakings under the Ministry of Power. Members of the Hindi Advisory Committee and other dignitaries were also present.

On this occasion, Shri R. K. Vishnoi, CMD, congratulated all officers and employees of THDC India Limited. He emphasized that “the key to success in any field lies in dedicated and continuous efforts.”

Speaking about the achievement, Shri Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), stated that THDC India Limited secured the highest score among all participating organizations, leading to this remarkable recognition.
