The event brought together industry leaders, academia, and technology experts to explore how automation, AI, IoT, and other Industry 4.0 technologies are revolutionizing manufacturing and mining operations. Inaugurated by NALCO CMD Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, who underscored the importance of adopting these advanced technologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness, the conference also highlighted supportive government policies like
‘Make in India’ and initiatives promoting start-ups, which foster self-reliance amid India’s rapid economic growth and infrastructure development. Key speakers included Shri Jagdish Arora, who discussed the Industry 4.0 revolution, and Shri Rajiv Kumar of Vedanta Aluminium, along with virtual insights from Shri Sarajit Jha of Tata Steel, with other senior officials from NALCO contributing valuable perspectives on digital transformation in the sector.
