ArcelorMittal has announced plans to build the world’s largest steel manufacturing site in Hazira, Gujarat by 2029, with a capacity of 24 million tonnes per annum. ArcelorMittal has signed MoUs with the Gujarat government for phase two of the Hazira plant in the summit.The first phase started in 2021 and will be commissioned in 2026 as per schedule.
This steel manufacturing site is in alignment with India’s commitment to industrial growth.
