Women in the power

Women in the power

As part of We POWER,100 Mid-career women power professionals from the South Asian Region (SAR), are participating in a training series on the global power sector, including 32 women participants from India. We POWER (supported by the World Bank) is a partnership of around 38 South Asian energy organizations that support women’s participation in energy projects and institutions.

During the practical exposure through NPTI,  these 32 women engineers of the Indian power sector met Hon’ble Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy Shri R K Singh. Being the nodal officer of @WePower from NTPC, I was part of the interaction. Shri Singh encouraged the women power professionals to set their ambitions high.
