NEW DELHI. The Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu, on Sunday virtually inaugurated the Udan Yatri Cafes at 11 airports, including Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (Lucknow), Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport (Patna), Rajkot International Airport, Jammu Airport, Srinagar International Airport, Jaipur International Airport, and Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport (Indore).
Union Minister revealed that, along with the cafes, several other passenger-centric facilities were inaugurated at 57 airports across the country, from Rajkot Airport.
Other initiatives include Digi Yatra, enabling seamless access and free Wi-Fi facilities. The launch package also included the inauguration of Flybrary – a free library for travellers – along with dedicated kids’ zones and AVSAR (Airports as Venue for Skilled Artisans) outlets promoting local SHG products.
