Bengaluru, 01 September 2025 – Shree Cement, one of India’s leading cement producers renowned for its focus on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, has announced the appointment of Mahendra Pratap Joshi as Head of Quality.
Mr. Joshi, an accomplished manufacturing professional and alumnus of Shree Cement, has over four decades of extensive experience in the cement industry. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions with reputed organizations including Aditya Cement, Heidelberg Cement, and Orient Cement. He rejoined Shree Cement in September 2024 from Orient Cement, where he served as Unit Head and is presently associated with the Manufacturing Excellence team in Kolkata.
In his new role, Mr. Joshi will lead Shree Cement’s quality function, with a focus on product excellence, raw material optimization, raw mix design and new product development. His mandate includes strengthening the company’s quality systems and embedding global best practices across operations.
