LUCKNOW. PowerGrid has recently inaugurated a 50-bed Vishram Sadan at Madhav Prasad Tripathi Medical College and Hospital in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh, built under its CSR initiative.
This facility aims to provide safe and accessible accommodation for patients and their attendants, benefiting lakhs of patients annually from Siddharthnagar and neighboring districts. In addition, POWERGRID has installed 500 solar lights and 500 hand pumps across Siddharthnagar to further support the local community.
Senior officials, including Dr. R. K. Tyagi, CMD of POWERGRID, and Shri Shiv Tapasya Paswan, Independent Director, attended the event, emphasizing the company’s commitment to community welfare. Through such initiatives, POWERGRID continues to illuminate lives in remote regions, embodying its mission of transmitting not just power but hope and smiles across the nation.
