SAMBALPUR: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has been honoured with the Special Recognition for Special Campaign for its exemplary efforts in promoting cleanliness, enhancing public awareness, and ensuring efficient disposal of pending matters across its operational areas. As part of this campaign, MCL carried out extensive outreach activities, workplace cleanliness drives, digital record management, and public engagement programmes aimed at strengthening transparency and service delivery.
The award was presented during the Half Yearly Review Meeting on the Coal Sector held in New Delhi, in the presence of Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Coal & Mines, and Shri Satish Chandra Dubey, Union Minister of State for Coal & Mines. Shri Uday Anant Kaole, CMD, MCL, along with senior officials, received the recognition on behalf of the company, marking a significant milestone in MCL’s continued commitment to responsive and responsible governance.
