NTPC Bongaigaon has been conferred with the esteemed CSR Health Impact Award 2024 under the category of Child Health System Strengthening Project (Rural) for its dedicated efforts in Tuensang District, Nagaland. This accolade recognizes NTPC Bongaigaon’s ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its focus on uplifting rural communities and enhancing the quality of life as a responsible corporate entity.
The award was presented by Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Former Union Minister, at a ceremony held in Delhi, where Shri Shubham Pandey, Law Officer, NTPC Bongaigaon, accepted the honor on behalf of the 750 MW power station. This recognition highlights NTPC Bongaigaon’s initiatives to bolster healthcare services and infrastructure in rural areas, with a particular emphasis on child health.
NTPC, New Delhi, was also honored with the “CSR Women & Child Health Project” award for its initiative, “Running of Maternal and Child Healthcare Units at NTPC Stations,” which reaffirms NTPC’s pivotal role in promoting public health and social welfare across India.
