NEW DELHI. Ms Nivedita Dubey has assumed charge as Member (Human Resources), the second-highest position in the Airports Authority of India (AAI), becoming the first woman officer to be inducted into the AAI Board. Her appointment marks a historic milestone in the Indian aviation sector and has been widely welcomed.
A native of Prayagraj, Dubey joined AAI in 1995 as a management trainee and has served in several key leadership roles. An alumna of Allahabad University and MONIRBA, she has been widely appreciated for her tenure as airport manager at Indira Gandhi International Airport and for successfully turning around loss-making airports during her term as Regional Executive Director of the Eastern Region.
