For the first time in history, a Tri-Services tableau will roll down Kartavya Path during the 76th Republic Day Parade on January 26, 2025, symbolizing the spirit of jointness and integration within the Indian Armed Forces. With the theme ‘Shashakt aur Surakshit Bharat’, the tableau will highlight the evolving synergy among the Army, Navy, and Air Force, reinforcing national security and operational excellence.
The tableau will feature a Joint Operations Room, showcasing real-time networking and communication between the three Services. It will depict a battlefield scenario demonstrating synchronized operations across land, air, and sea, featuring indigenous platforms such as the Arjun Main Battle Tank, Tejas MK-II fighter aircraft, Advanced Light Helicopter, destroyer INS Visakhapatnam, and a Remotely Piloted Aircraft. These cutting-edge platforms reflect India’s push towards ‘Aatmanirbharta’ (self-reliance) in defence.
The year 2025 has been declared the ‘Year of Reforms’ by the Ministry of Defence, with jointness and integration at the core of the Department of Military Affairs’ mandate. Recognized as crucial to maximizing combat potential, these reforms aim to prepare the Armed Forces for contemporary and future conflicts. The Headquarters, Integrated Defence Staff has been leading focused initiatives to strengthen Tri-Services synergy, ensuring reforms are implemented effectively.
This commitment to jointness and integration will significantly enhance India’s military capabilities, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and unified action in safeguarding national interests.
