KOKRAJHAR. NTPC Bongaigaon observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on October 31, 2026, commemorating the 151st birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The occasion honoured his visionary leadership and invaluable contribution to national integration.
The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge was administered by Shri Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, in the presence of Shri Anurag Gupta, GM (O&M), Shri Rajesh Kumar Maji, GM (Maintenance and Ash Dyke Management), departmental heads, representatives of employees’ unions and associations, and employees of the station.
The pledge reaffirmed the collective commitment of employees to preserving the unity, integrity and security of the nation while promoting harmony, solidarity and national integration. The occasion also highlighted Sardar Patel’s historic role in uniting the princely states and laying the foundation of modern India.
