Participating as a distinguished panelist in a discussion on People, Purpose & Possibilities: Reimagining Human Capital in the Age of AI, Shri Gupta emphasized that while artificial intelligence enhances productivity and decision-making, core functions like ethical considerations, risk management, and contextual understanding strictly require human oversight. He cautioned against over-reliance on AI, noting that just as an unused muscle weakens, neglecting independent thought and continuous learning risks diminishing human creativity, and he urged young professionals and students to actively cultivate habits of reading, critical thinking, and contextual analysis to navigate the future of work.
