From supporting ALS ambulances to providing nutritional aid to TB patients under the Nikshay Mitra scheme, the station is filling critical gaps in rural health infrastructure.
Empowering the Future: Education and Skill Development
NTPC Bongaigaon is actively bridging the digital and educational divide through:
Innovation: Establishing Mobile Science Labs and Education Space Labs in the BTR.
Digital Literacy: Launching smart classrooms and district-wide digital centers.
Livelihood: The Lakhpati Baideu program and the promotion of Eri silk are driving women’s financial independence.
Girl Power: The flagship Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) is expanding, with 50 girls set to enroll in 2026—a 25% increase from the previous year—focusing on holistic personality development and education.
