MUMBAI. SBI Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of the State Bank of India, has officially announced the launch of the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2026, marking one of India’s largest corporate scholarship initiatives backed by a ₹100 crore financial commitment. Co-funded across various SBI Group entities, the flagship program aims to support 25,707 meritorious students from economically weaker sections by providing annual financial assistance ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹15,00,000 based on their course level. The scheme spans diverse educational pathways, covering school pupils in Classes 9 to 12, undergraduate and postgraduate candidates at NIRF Top 300 or NAAC A-rated institutions, medical (MBBS) students, scholars at premier IITs and IIMs, as well as students pursuing master’s degrees abroad at QS Top 200 ranked universities. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the dedicated portal between July 22, 2026, and September 4, 2026.
