NEW DELHI. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the entrustment of additional charge of Chairperson (JS level), Cochin Port Authority, to M. Angamuthu, IAS (AM:2002), Chairman, Mumbai Port Authority. The additional charge will be for six months with effect from June 30, 2026, following a proposal from the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. The decision is aimed at ensuring administrative continuity at the authority.
