NEW DELHI . NTPC successfully concluded the National Finale of the Electron Quiz 2025 on December 19 at its Power Management Institute, Noida, witnessing keen competition among leading engineering and management institutions, including IIT Kanpur, IIM Calcutta, and IIM Lucknow. The event showcased high levels of knowledge, analytical skills, and strategic thinking among participating teams.
The IIT Kanpur team comprising Aditya Padhi and Sparsh Pradeep Jain emerged as champions, winning a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. IIM Lucknow secured the first runner-up position with a prize of Rs 60,000, while IIM Calcutta finished second runner-up, receiving Rs 40,000. Anil Kumar Jadli, Director (HR), NTPC, highlighted the quiz as a prestigious platform for intellectual engagement and knowledge exchange. The Electron Quiz 2025 featured extensive regional rounds with participation from 639 teams across the country, aiming to foster analytical thinking among students while strengthening NTPC’s engagement with academia. NTPC Ltd, which contributes nearly 25 per cent of India’s electricity generation, continues to focus on expanding its renewable energy capacity in line with its sustainability commitments.
