At the 4th Global RE-INVEST inaugurated by Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi on 16th September 2024 at Gandhinagar Gujarat. NHPC CMD Shri R.K. Chaudhary signed over Letters of Commitment in presence of Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Shri Pralhad Joshi asserting NHPC’s aim to install 16,700 MW of renewable energy and produce 500 MT/year of Green Hydrogen by 2030, with an investment of ?80,000 crore. This initiative will support India’s 500 GW non-fossil fuel capacity goal and create 20,000 job opportunities.
