NAGPUR. Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has taken a major step toward nurturing future-ready leadership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIM Nagpur for the financial year 2026–27. Under this partnership, 75 middle and senior-level WCL executives will undergo a customized residential Leadership Development Programme across three batches, aimed at bolstering strategic thinking, managerial excellence, and decision-making capabilities to tackle dynamic industry challenges. The MoU was formally signed by Shri M. K. Gupta, GM (E&M/HRD), on behalf of WCL, and Dr. Alok Kumar Singh on behalf of IIM Nagpur, in the presence of Dr. Hemant Sharad Pande, CMD, WCL; Shri Bikram Ghosh, Director (Finance & HR); Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM Nagpur; and other key officials.
