Led by Dr. Nalin Shinghal, CMD Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, over 700 runners from BHEL Family participated in the 18th edition of Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2023 held in New Delhi . Mr. Tajinder Gupta, Director (Power), Mr. Shiv Pal Singh, CVO, Mr. K.S. Murthy, Executive Director (COM), Mr. S.B. Naithani, Executive Director (PEM), Mr. M. Isadore, Executive Director (HR) and other senior officials of BHEL also participated in the event.
Significantly, more than 100 women employees of the company also participated in the marathon.The participants carried banners for creating awareness on ‘Fit India’, ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ and ‘Harit BHEL’.Notably, Dr. Shinghal successfully completed his 15th Delhi Half Marathon in the true spirit of sportsmanship.
