LUCKNOW. Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, inaugurated the newly constructed Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) building at Piprauli Block in Gorakhpur district. The facility has been developed by POWERGRID under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to strengthen technical education infrastructure in the Purvanchal region.
The new ITI will benefit students from Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharthnagar, Basti, Maharajganj, Deoria, Kushinagar, Mau and nearby districts by offering training in trades such as Draftsman (Civil), Computer Hardware and Network Maintenance, Electrician and Fitter. Present at the inauguration were Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel); Shri Shiv Tapasya Paswan, Independent Director; Shri Jasbir Singh, ED (CSR); Shri Yugesh Kumar Dixit, ED (Northern Region–III); and other senior POWERGRID officials.
