The Ministry of Tourism officially launched its Annual Capacity Building Plan (ACBP) on May 14th as part of Mission Karmayogi, with Smt. V. Vidyavathi, Secretary of the Ministry, and Dr. Alka Mittal, Member (Admin) of CBC, in attendance. Smt. Vidyavathi emphasized the importance of breaking down departmental silos and fostering a collaborative “One Ministry” approach, alongside promoting a culture of continuous learning at all levels. Dr. Mittal highlighted that Mission Karmayogi aims to develop a skilled, agile, and citizen-centric bureaucracy capable of meeting the demands of modern governance. The ACBP outlines structured training initiatives focused on behavioral, domain, and functional competencies, serving as a vital step toward enhancing institutional capacity and ensuring the delivery of responsive, future-ready public services.
