Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.74%

India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 181.24 Cr (1,81,24,97,303) as per provisional reports till 7 am today. This has been achieved through 2,14,03,116 sessions.

COVID-19 vaccination for the age group 12-14 years was started on 16 March, 2022. So far, nearly 18 lakh (17,99,684) adolescents have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

The break-up of the cumulative figure as per the provisional report till 7 am today include:

Following a continuous downward trend, India’s Active Caseload has declined to 25,106 today, constituting 0.06% of the country’s total Positive Cases.

Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.74%. 2,652 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) is now at 4,24,67,774.

1,549 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

The last 24 hours saw a total of 3,84,499 COVID-19 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 78.30 Cr (78,30,45,157) cumulative tests.

There has been a sustained fall in the weekly and daily Positivity Rates too. Weekly Positivity Rate in the country currently stands at 0.40% and the Daily Positivity rate is also reported to be 0.40%.

Update on COVID-19 Vaccine Availability in States/UTs

More than 17.21 Crore balance and unutilized vaccine doses still available with States/UTs
The Union Government is committed to accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of COVID-19 vaccination throughout the country. The nationwide COVID 19 vaccination started on 16^th January 2021. The new phase of universalization of COVID-19 vaccination commenced from 21^st June 2021. The vaccination drive has been ramped up through availability of more vaccines, advance visibility of vaccine availability to States and UTs for enabling better planning by them, and streamlining the vaccine supply chain.

As part of the nationwide vaccination drive, Government of India has been supporting the States and UTs by providing them COVID Vaccines free of cost. In the new phase of the universalization of the COVID19 vaccination drive, the Union Government will procure and supply (free of cost) 75% of the vaccines being produced by the vaccine manufacturers in the country to States and UTs.

पांच राज्यों के चुनाव नतीजों ने कांग्रेस के अप्रासंगिक होने का खतरा पैदा कर दिया है अब ये सवाल उठने लगा है कि कहीं कांग्रेस की हालत लेफ्ट की तरह तो नहीं हो जायेगी जो सिर्फ विचारधारा की बात करेगी लेकिन सत्ता और जनता की राजनीति से दूर हो जायेगी . खतरा गांधी परिवार की ब्रैंड वैल्यू पर भी है कि कहीं लोग ये न कहने लगे कि अब गांधी के बिना भी कांग्रेस चल सकती है . सबसे बड़े सवाल तो राहूुल गांधी पर होगे जिनकी टीम फ्लाप हो गयी . अब राहुल को फिर  से अध्यक्ष बनना कांटो पर चलना होगा .

कांग्रेस का चुनाव प्रबंधन . सिदधू जैसे मसखरे पर दांव लगाना ,टिकटों का बेचा जाना और चुनाव मेंं केवल राहुल प्रियंका के प्रचार पर फोकस करना सब सवाल उठेंगे . साफ है कि अब केवल कुछ नेताओं को हटा देने से बात नहीं बनेगी अब तो पूरा घर ही बदलना होगा .

कांग्रेस ने पांच राज्यों के विधानसभा चुनावों में पार्टी के निराशाजनक प्रदर्शन को लेकर कहा कि वह इस जनादेश से सबक लेगी और आत्मचिंतन करते हुए नए बदलाव एवं रणनीति के साथ सामने आएगी।

पार्टी अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी ने जल्द ही कांग्रेस कार्य समिति की बैठक बुलाने का फैसला किया है, जिसमें चुनावी हार के कारणों पर मंथन होगा।

उत्तर प्रदेश, पंजाब, गोवा, मणिपुर और उत्तराखंड के विधानसभा चुनावों के जो नतीजे आए हैं, इससे भी अगर सबक नहीं लिया तो कांग्रेस का कोई कुछ भी नहीं कर सकता। ये नतीजे कांग्रेस के नेतृत्व, कांग्रेस के नेताओं, कांग्रेस के संगठन, कांग्रेस की चुनावी रणनीति, चुनावी प्रबंधन सभी पर समग्रता से विमर्श और मंथन की जरूरत बता रहे हैं। खास कर पंजाब, गोवा और उत्तराखंड के परिणाम कांग्रेस के लिए मीमांसा और मंथन का विषय है।

तीस साल से उत्तर प्रदेश की सत्ता से दूर कांग्रेस का इस चुनाव में अब तक का सबसे कमजोर प्रदर्शन सामने आया है। पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी की हत्या के बाद 1985 के चुनाव में कांग्रेस ने 39 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा वोट हासिल कर 269 सीटें जीती थी। नारायण दत्त तिवारी इसके अंतिम मुख्यमंत्री थे। तब से अब तक पार्टी का जनाधार गिरता जा रहा है। 1989 में यह मत प्रतिशत गिर कर 28 और 1991 में 18 पहुंच गया। इसके बाद प्रदेश कांग्रेस दृश्य से बाहर होती चली गई। 2017 में दहाई से नीचे जा गिरी और इस बार पांच सीट का आंकड़ा भी पार नहीं कर पाई। जो जीते, वे अपने दम पर जीते। पार्टी की भूमिका उनकी जीत में लगभग शून्य है। गांधी परिवार अपने गढ़ अमेठी और रायबरेली को भी नहीं बचा सका। पिछले चुनाव में रायबरेली की दो सीटें कांग्रेस जीती भी थी, जो अब भाजपा के पास जा चुकी है।

Dr. Phaterpekar from the same university adds that walking in reverse improves eyesight and mental clarity.

नये साल के जश्न की तैयारी कर रहा पर्यटन राज्य गोवा में राजनीति का माहौल गर्म हो रहा है . इन दिनों राजनीतिक एजेंडा सेट हो रहा है ऐसे में नये नये आये राजनीतिक दल तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने गोवा की नई सुबह और 35 हजार करोड का नया नारा उछाल दिया है . इस मसले पर बीजेपी उलझ गयी है और उसे जवाब नहीं देते बन रहा है .
गोवा में पहली बार है जब चार पुराने दलो के अलावा पांचवे और छठे दल की भी एंटी हो गयी है . गोवा में अब तक बीजेपी . कांग्रेस .एनसीपी और शिवसेना ही बड़े दल थे चुनाव मैदान में लेकिन इस बार आम आदमी पार्टी और तृणमूल कांग्रेस भी मैदान में उतर गयी है. सबसे ज्यादा खर्च तृणमूल कांग्रेस कर रही है और रणनीतीकार प्रशांत किशोर के कहने पर सब हो रहा है . गोवा एयरपोर्ट से उतरकर आप अगर पणजी तक का सफर करेंगे तो हर जगह आपको ममता बनर्जी के पोस्टर नजर आयेंगे. गोयेंची नवी सकाल . गोवा की नई सुबह ..
टीएमसी ने गोवा के पुराने क्रिश्चियन एनजीओ गोवा फाउंडेशन के साथ समझौता कर लिया है और इस संगठन ने पुराने कागज झाड़ पोंछकर एक नया जुमला 35 हजार करोड़ की वसूली और हर गोवा के खाते में तीन लाख रुपये जमा करने का नारा दिया है. पार्टी नेता डेरेक ओ ब्रायन ने कहा है कि गोवा में माइनिंग माफिया ने 35 हजार करोड़ का घोटाला किया था और उसे वापस लेकर हर गोवा वासी को तीन लाख रुपये दिये जायेगे . ये सब उनको गोवा फाउंडेशन के क्लाउड अलवारिस ने समझाया है . जो गोवा के हर विकास काम में रोड़ा लगाते रहे हैं.
क्या है ये 35 हजार करोड़ का खेल .
असल में गोवा फाउंडेशन की अपील पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट के जज एम बी शाह ने एक रिपोर्ट बनायी थी जिसमें कहा गया था कि अनुमान है कि गोवा में गलत खनन से करीब 35हजारकरोड़ का राजस्व नुकसान हुआ .. ये रिपोर्ट 2012 के चुनाव में बीजेपी ने उठा ली और अरुण जेटली के साथ मनोहर पर्रीकर ने इस पर खूब प्रचार किया . बाद में जब पर्रीकर की ही सरकार आ गयी तो वो फंस गये . गोवा सरकार ने इस पर एक जांच बिठाई तो खुद पर्रीकर को अधिकारिक तौर पर कहना पड़ा कि ये आंकड़ा करीब तीन हजार करोड़ का ही है 35 हजार करोड़ तो अनुमान था .. लेकिन मजे की बात जब चार्टड अकाउंटेंटस की एक कमेटी बनाकर जांच की गयी तो असल आंकड़ा 300 करोड़ से भी कम के रेवेन्यू लास का निकला. आखिर में वो भी पांच साल मे वसूल नही हो पाये . यानि 15 लाख करोड़ के काले धन और हर खाते में 15 लाख के जुमले की तरह इसका इस्तेमाल हो गया. अब तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने इसे लपक लिया है और लगातार बयानबाजी कर रहे है लेकिन मुश्किल ये है कि खुद बीजेपी सरकार भी इसका खंडन नहीं कर पा रही है. डर यही कि लोग अगर फिर से खाते में तीन लाख के झांसे मे आ गये तो क्या होगा.
गोवा की हालत खराब ..
असल में इस समय गोवा एक ऐसा राज्य हो गया है जिस पर कोविड का सबसे बुरा असर पड़ा है. गोवा में दो साल तक पर्यटन पूरी तरह बंद रहा तो कसीनो ,क्लब और किनारे पर खुले होटल ठपप हो गये .दूसरी तरफ कानूनी पचड़े के कारण 2018 से माइनिंग बंद है .आइरन ओर की इन माइन के बंद होने के कारण ढुलाई और पोर्ट से आवाजाही भी बंद है . इससे सरकार को कोई इनकम नहीं हो रही .गोवा पर अभी करीब 23 हजार करोड़ रुपये का कर्ज है जो पिछले तीन साल मे 50 फीसदी बढा है क्योकि कोई कमाई नहीं है ..इसी के चलते सरकार के काम रुक रहे है . गोवा में सरकार को हर महीने 112 करोड़ रुपये चाहिये केवल तनख्वाह देने के लिए वो भी जुटाना मुश्किल हो रहा है . ऐसे में गोवा के सीएम प्रमोद सावंत फिर से माइनिंग चालू करने की बात कर रहे है लेकिन तृणमूल ने 35 हजार करोड़ का जुमला उछाल कर उनको परेशानी में डाल दिया है.
गोवा में 14 लाख की आबादी में से 3 लाख लोग किसी न किसी तरह माइनिंग में लगे हैं जाहिर है माइनिंग बंद होने से बेरोजगारी भी बेतहाशा बढ़ी है और कोविड में पर्यटन ठप होने से ये कोड़ में खाज की तरह हो गयी है. अब चुनाव में फिर से मुददे और जुमले उछाले जा रहे है जबकि आम गोवा वासी जो बहुत साधारण रहते हैं कहीं वो इस जुमले की राजनीति में फंस ना जाये तो बीजेपी को बहुत मुश्किल होगी..

With the administration of 83,88,824 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 120.27 Cr (1,20,27,03,659) as per provisional reports till 7 am today.  This has been achieved through 1,24,56,121 sessions.

Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.33% which is highest since March 2020.

Sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States/UTs continue the trend of less than 50,000 Daily New Cases that is being reported for 152 consecutive days now.

While testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, Weekly Positivity Rate at 0.89% remains less than 1% for the last 12 days now. The Daily Positivity rate reported to be 0.89%. The Daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 53 days and below 3% for 88 consecutive days now.

Kogilu Cross, Nagavara, Vidyaranyapura and Yelahanka in Bengaluru are among the areas most affected by incessant rains.

Teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have been deployed in rain-affected areas to carry out rescue and relief operations.

Addressing the media on Monday, Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai announced a compensation of Rs 1 lakh each for those who lose their homes to rain-related incidents. He added that the state government has released Rs 500 crore for roads and bridges in addition to forming emergency rescue teams around the city of Bengaluru.

The institute – Jawaharlal Nehru Centre For Advanced Scientific Research – got flooded on Monday morning due to incessant rain in parts of Karnataka.

Water also entered the institute’s research room. Several research materials and reports seem to have been damaged due to this flooding. The assessment process will start once the water is completely drained out

Several areas in the Karnataka’s capital city were battered by heavy rain since last evening leading to several homes getting flooded leaving the residents marooned. Several cars parked in the basement of apartments were also submerged in flood water

The rain caused water logging in many areas in the city late last night and its impact was visible this morning as well

Boats were also deployed in several localities in north Bengaluru to rescue people. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDRF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) were also pressed to discharge the water. Most of the waterlogging happened in and around apartments built on lake bed where there is not much of an alternative to divert the accumulated water.
