पटना में पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री उपेन्द्रनाथ वर्मा की पुण्यतिथि पर उनके चित्र पर माल्यार्पण कर उन्हें भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करने के बाद नीतीश कुमार पत्रकारों के सवाल का जवाब दे रहे थे। पटना के श्रीकृष्ण स्मारक भवन परिसर में पुण्यतिथि के मौके पर राजकीय समारोह का आयोजन किया गया था, जहां मुख्यमंत्री के साथ राज्यपाल राजेन्द्र विश्वनाथ आर्लेकर ने भी पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री उपेन्द्रनाथ वर्मा के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण कर उन्हें भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि दी।

कार्यक्रम के पश्चात मुख्यमंत्री ने पत्रकारों से बातचीत की। पत्रकारों ने जब भारतीय राष्ट्रीय विकासशील समावेशी गठबंधन (I.N.D.I.A) का कन्वेनर बनाये जाने से संबंधित सवाल पूछा तो मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हम बराबर कह रहे हैं कि हमको कुछ नहीं बनना है। दूसरे लोगों को बनाया जाएगा। हमारी कोई इच्छा नहीं है। हम सबको एकजुट करना चाहते हैं। हमको कुछ व्यक्तिगत नहीं चाहिए। हम सबका हित चाहते हैं, इसलिए कभी ये सब मत सोचिए कि हम व्यक्तिगत कुछ चाहते हैं।

भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष सम्राट चौधरी द्वारा भारत को असली आजादी 1977 में जेपी आंदोलन के बाद मिलने के प्रश्न पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उनलोगों की किसी बात पर हम ध्यान ही नहीं देते हैं। देश को आजादी कब मिली है, ये सबको मालूम है। जिनको आजादी के बारे में नहीं मालूम है, इसका मतलब वो कितना इलीगल है। उन सबका कोई वैल्यू नहीं है।

In what could be seen as game changing development in the face of Lok Sabha elections 2024, the opposition bloc, constituted with 26 parties, coalesced to square off with the BJP-led ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA). In the meeting held in Bengaluru on July 18 (Tuesday), they christened their alliance I.N.D.I.A (India National Developmental Inclusive Alliance), setting the stage for a battle of ballot against the BJP-led ruling establishment to win majority in Lok Sabha elections scheduled for 2024. Striking a chord of nationalism to cross swords with BJP’s NDA, the 26-party alliance have floated the tagline of I.N.D.I.A.: “Jeetega Bharat”.

After the joint opposition meeting in Bengaluru, the Bharatiya Janata Party has also shown its strength with a meeting of 38 members of the NDA in the national capital on the same day. During his address to NDA leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “NDA means: N=New India, D=Development, A=Aspiration.” It looks that wordplay is in the fray, heralding an intense battle in the making for 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The ruling dispensation has on several occasions used acronyms cleverly to catch the attention of the public. Taking the leaf out of the BJP’s book, the opposition has now delivered I.N.D.I.A googly to stump out the NDA on the pitch of nationalism to settle scores in the bitterly contested run-up to 2024. So, the battle lines are drawn for NDA vs I.N.D.I.A.

Punch and counter punch have started to set the optics for 2024 general elections, as leaders from both the sides claim their preparedness to emerge victorious.  According to Congress Twitter handle, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said: “This is an important meeting to save democracy and the constitution, and in the interest of the country, we have come together. With one voice, people have supported the resolution. Our alliance will be called INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance).

Addressing a joint press conference with other alliance leaders, Kharge revealed that all 26 parties unanimously took the decision to set up an “11-member coordination committee” during their next meeting to be held in Mumbai. The committee, the Congress chief said, will handle matters related to leadership questions and complexities of seat sharing. Kharge further contended that the reconstitution of NDA has exposed the Modi-led BJP apprehensions about the growing strength of BJP.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stressed the alliance’s commitment to defend the voice of people and the idea of India. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackray among others joined the same bandwagon to defend the positioning of the I.N.D.I.A alliance and expressed solidarity to take on the BJP-led NDA.

In his address to the NDA members, PM Modi said that the BJP-led alliance was formed to bring stability in the nation, and added: “Even when we were in the opposition, we always did positive politics. In opposition, we brought out scams of the then govts but never insulted the mandate of the people. We never took the help of foreign powers against the ruling governments. We never created hurdles in development schemes meant for the country,” reported by ANI.

“Hamare liye gathbandhan majboori nahi majbooti ka madhyam hai. NDA is not the symbol of coalition and compulsion but the symbol of coalition and contribution. In NDA, no party is small or big. We all are walking together towards the same goal,” said the PM Modi while addressing the NDA members.

Meanwhile Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, sharing his views on the CNN-News 18 Townhall’s theme ‘Road to 2024’ held on Tuesday, expressed confidence on the performance of the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, and added, “People will vote for the good governance in 2024 because we do politics of progress and development. What Congress did not do in sixty years; we did in nine. BJP will have a massive majority under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

Taking a swipe on the Opposition’s bid to huddle together, the minister said, “When people become weak, they come together. We do politics of conviction and progression.”

The Opposition plays a vital role in the functioning of Indian democracy by acting as a responsible check on the government, representing diverse views, and contributing to policy formulation and legislative debates. Their constructive engagement helps uphold democratic principles and ensures a more balanced and inclusive governance system.

The pertinent questions reverberating in public domain: Will the opposition bloc of 26 parties stand together to play constructive role to lead India?  In 2024 Lok Sabha elections, who will be the face of the opposition group to face off “charismatic” PM Modi?  What formula will be evolved to stich all members of the opposition alliance together on seat sharing for fighting Lok Sabha elections? How will wrinkles between TMC and CPM be ironed out, as they snuggle down in meeting in Bengaluru and fiercely fight with each other in Kolkata?  Of course, road to 2024, as it appears now, will be a bumpy ride for I.N.D.I.A, but it is the public, sab janati hai, who will decide that: “Jeetega Bharat” or “Khilega Kamal”.

दरअसल सत्ता से हटने के बाद बीजेपी को भी ठाकरे परिवार के किसी सदस्य का नाम चाहिये ताकि आम मराठी मुंबईकर और हिंदुत्व से जुडे लोग उसके साथ रहे . साथ ही केन्द्र की तरफ से भी फणनवीस को कहा गया है कि एनआरसी और सीएए के मुददे पर समर्थन दिलाये ताकि केन्द्र को राहत मिल सके .अभी राज्य में शिवसेना , कांग्रेस और एनसीपी तीनों मिलकर सरकार तो चला रही रहे है साथ ही वो नागरिकता कानून और राष्ट्रीय जनसंख्या रजिस्टर का भी विरोध कर रहे हैं . शिवसेना में रहते हुए राज ठाकरे ही वो सबसे प्रखर वक्ता थे जो मुंबई में बढती भीड और बंगलादेशियों के आने पर बोलते रहे हैं. राज ने तो बाकायदा इस पर शिवसैनिकों के लिए प्रेजेन्टेशन भी दिया था .. बीजेपी चाहती है कि राज वैसा ही प्रेजेन्टेशन लेकर पूरे प्रदेश में सभायें करे जिनका बीजेपी समर्थन करेगी .

दरअसल विधानसभा चुनाव के बाद जब से शिवसेना ने कांग्रेस और एनसीपी से हाथ मिला लिया है तब से राज ठाकरे अकेले पड गये हैं . विधानसभा में भी उनका एक ही विधायक चुनकर आया साथ ही कई महानगरपालिकाओं में भी उनका खाता नही
खुला . राज ठाकरे को ये भी समझ आ गया है कि वो हिंदुत्व और मराठी अस्मिता के सवाल पर ही राजनीती कर सकते हैं.इसलिए वो अपनी पार्टी का झंडा भी बदल रहे है. अब तक केवल भगवा झंडे को ही अपनाने वाले है . राज मकर संक्रांति के बाद इसकी घोषणा करेंगें . बीजेपी के नेताओं को लगता है कि अगर राज ठाकरे साथ आये तो मुंबई में उनकी मदद मिलेगी लेकिन सबसे बडी मुशिकल उत्तर भारतीयों और हिंदी भाषी समाज की है जिसे राज ठाकरे की पार्टी के लोग पीटते रहे हैं.

अब फणनवीस ने राज ठाकरे को शिवसेना की तरह ही मी मुंबईकर मुहिम शुरु करने कहा है जिसमें मराठी के साथ साथ हिंदी भाषी .गुजराती और अन्य समाज को भी जोडा जायेगा . फणनवीस का मानना है कि बीएमसी चुनाव में शिवसेना कांग्रेस एनसीपी मिलकर लडते है तो तीनों दलो में बडी संख्या में बगावत होगी जिनको वो अपने और मनसे के बैनर तले टिकट दे सकती है. पिछले बीएमसी चुनाव में भी शिवसेना और बीजेपी अलग अलग होकर चुनाव लडे थे जिसमें बीजेपी को 82 और शिवसेना को 86 पार्षद मिले थे लेकिन चुनावी मजबूरियों के चलते बीजेपी ने शिवसेना को बीएमसी में सत्ता संभालने दे दी थी .

40 हजार करोड रुपये के बजट वाली बीएमसी शिवसेना की कमजोरी है . बीजेपी इसी कमजोरी पर हाथ रखना चाहती है . वो जानती है कि अकेले ये नही हो पायेगा इसलिए बीजेपी ,मनसे और रामदास आठवले की आरपीआई मिलाकर एक बडा मोर्चा बनाया जाये .

The state saw a six-way battle in five phases with the ruling BJP and opposition Congress battling it out, with the smaller regional parties like AJSU Party, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) and Rashtriya Janata Dal trying to play a major part in the elections.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-Congress-Rashtriya Janata Dal alliance is on its way to wrest power in the state defeating Bharatiya Janata Party . Alliance leading in 41 seats while Bjp only touches 29 mark in lead. JMM’s BAIDYANATH RAM is leading from Latehar constituency by 2,443 votes against BJP’s PRAKASH RAM while BJP’s NILKANTH SINGH MUNDA is leading from Khunti constituency by 8204 votes against Jharkhand Vikas Morcha’s DAYAMANI BARLA.

Congress leader RPN Singh said that his party will back JMM working president Hemant Soren as the alliance’s chief ministerial candidate. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, reiterated these sentiments. Tejashwi Yadav, RJD said There is going to be a clean sweep for Mahagathbandhan (grand alliance) in this election. We have fought elections under leadership of Hemant Soren. He is going to be the Chief Minister .

Babulal Marandi is leading from Dhanwar seat by 2841 votes. He was contesting against BJP’s Lakshman Prasad and JMM’s Nizamuddin Ansari. As of now The JMM-Congress-RJD alliance is ahead on 41 seats, the required figure to form the government in Jharkhand. The BJP on the other hand is ahead on 29 seats. AJSU is ahead on five while JVM is leading on four seats.

The overall voter turnout in the Jharkhand assembly polls was estimated at 65.23 percent compared to 66.53 percent to 2014. The counting of votes today will decide who would emerge victorious among the 1216 candidates, including 127 women for the 81-member Assembly

शरद पवार ने एक मराठी चैनल को दिये इंटरव्यू में कहा है कि खुद प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने एनसीपी को बीजेपी के साथ सरकार बनाने का आफर दिया था . पीएम ने कहा था कि साथ मिलकर सरकार बना लें . अंदर की बात ये है कि आफर तो केन्द्र में शामिल होने का भी था लेकिन पवार अपनी ही पार्टी के नेताओं के दवाब में थे इसलिए रुक गये . अब पवार ने इस नये खुलासे से ये संदेश सबको दे दिया कि महाराष्ट्र में उनके लिए विकल्प है और कोई भी सरकार बने उनके साथ ही बनेगी .

इस संदेश में कई निहितार्थ भी है ये संदेश पवार ने अपने उन पुराने साथियों को भी दिया है जो ऐन मौके पर पार्टी छोडकर बीजेपी चले गये थे . बीजेपी के 105 विधायकों में आधे से ज्यादा ऐसे है जो कांग्रेस और एनसीपी से आये थे . पवार उनको घर वापसी का संदेश भी दे रहे हैं. एनसीपी के दिग्गज रहे गणेश नाईक , पूर्व अध्यक्ष बबनराव पाचपुते , राजे शिवेंद्र सिंह , मोहिते पाटिल परिवार ऐसे तमाम लोग है जो अब सोच रहे होंगे कि एनसीपी में ही रहते तो बेहतर होता .

जानकार मानते है कि अब ये लोग छह महीने से एक साल तक इंतजार करेंगे उसके बाद इन लोगों में हताशा बढने लगेगी और सत्ता के लिए उनकी घर वापसी हो सकती है. जाहिर है अगर ऐसा हुआ तो ये बीजेपी को बढा झटका होगा .

शऱद पवार ने अजित पवार के कदम से भी ये कहते बहुत कुछ कह दिया कि खुद अजित पवार ने उनसे पूछा था कि देवेन्द्र फणनवीस मिलना चाहते है मिल लें क्यां .पवार ने मिलने की इजाजत दी थी लेकिन पवार अब ये भी कह रहे है कि उनको ये नहीं पता था कि अजीत सचमुच बीजेपी के साथ चले जायेंगे . अब इतनी तस्वीर तो साफ हो गयी है कि महाराष्ट्र मे राजनीतिक ड्रामे के कई पात्र और अंक खुद शरद पवार ही लिख रहे थे .आगे भी उनकी ही चलेगी.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday announced that it would not form government in Maharashtra in view of the ally Shiv Sena’s stand to not join them in the efforts.

Announcing the BJP’s decision, Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil accused the Uddhav Thackeray-led party, which is adamant on its demand for a rotational chief ministership, of “disrespecting” the popular mandate secured by the BJP and the Sena in recent Assembly polls.

“The mandate of the people of Maharashtra was for the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance. Sena has, however, disrespected the mandate, hence we have decided to not stake claim to form government. We have informed our decision to governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari,” Patil told reporters outside Raj Bhavan.

He wished “good luck” to the Sena if it wanted to form the government with the help of Opposition Congress and NCP.

The BJP and the Sena had together won 161 seats in the 288-member House, way above the halfway mark of 145.

The Sena, has claimed that the BJP had agreed to a 50:50 power share in the state ahead of the general elections. the Sena claimes a rotational system for the Chief Minister’s post and half the state’s ministerial berths.

In his letter to Mohan Bhagwat, Mr Tiwari said the state has delivered a mandate in favour of the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance. But the BJP’s failure to follow ‘coalition dharma’ is delaying the formation of new government in Maharashtra. Therefore, the RSS “should intervene and resolve the issue,” the letter read.

There has been no response from the RSS but a Nagpur based and RSS supported news paper TARUN BHARAT targeted shivsena for power tussel . Without naming Sanjay Raut, “Tarun Bharat”, said the leader was hurting the chances of BJP-Sena alliance to come to power in Maharashtra.

The pro-right wing daily also called him a “joker” and said “his attempts to portray a picture that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is isolated in the BJP is nothing but pure entertainment.”

Sanjay Raut, the Sena’s Rajya Sabha member and executive editor of its mouthpiece “Saamana”, has been at the forefront of voicing his party’s demands over equal distribution of power and sharing of the chief minister’s post with the BJP in the next Maharashtra government.

The Marathi daily published an editorial titled “Uddhav and Betaal” today which said: “Late Balasaheb Thackeray spent his entire life for wresting power from the Congress and NCP. But this Betaal is
trying hard to shatter his dreams and there will be no disappointment like this to see the Sena dragging behind one loud-mouth.”

Furious with the lack of response from the BJP camp, the Sena has even announced that it was ready to go with Sharad Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party and the Congress to form government.

Even after a meeting between Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and BJP chief Amit Shah, the BJP has not issued response. After the meeting on Monday morning, Mr Fadnavis told reporters that there is a need to form the government in Maharashtra at the earliest and it would be formed.

There was no word on how the BJP would go about it or on any negotiation with the Sena.

बांद्रा ईस्ट में भी शिवसेना का आपसी झगडा बढ गया है .यहां पर पुराने दिवंगत शिवसैनिक बाला सावंत की पत्नी तृप्ति सावंत की टिकट काटकर मेयर महाडेश्वर को दे दी गयी है. अब तृप्ति भी मैदान में हैं . इस सीट पर कांग्रेस ने बाबा सिददीकी के बेटे जीशान को टिकट दी है . जीशान दो की लडाई में जीत सकते हैं.

भाजपा का आपसी झगडा सायन कोलीवाडा में भी दिख रहा है . वहां कैप्टन तमिल सेल्वन के खिलाफ भाजपा के ही प्रसाद लाड लग गये हैं . वो अपनी पत्नी के लिए आगे की राह खोलना चाहते हैं. ऐसे में फायदा कांग्रेस के गणेश यादव को मिल रहा है . गणेश चुनाव भी जीत सकते हैं.

अंधेरी ईस्ट में भी आपसी झगडे के चलते कांग्रेस के अशोक जाधव को बडा फायदा होते दिख रहा है . यहां शिवसेना के लोग साथ नही दे रहे हैं. इसके अलावा फायदा कांग्रेस के मालाड से विधायक असलम शेख को भी मिल रहा है . जहां बीजेपी ने रमेश ठाकुर को टिकट दिया है लेकिन शिवसेना ये सीट चाह रही थी इसलिए अब शिवसेना वहां बीजेपी का साथ नही दे रही .

मीरा भायंदर में बीजेपी मे बागी हो गयी गीता जैन का फायदा सीधे कांग्रेस के उम्मीदवार मुजफ्फर हुसैन को मिलता दिख रहा है. अभी के अनुमान के अनुसार करीब तीन लाख तक वहां वोटिंग होती है जिसमें अगर गीता जैन करीब 70 हजार वोट ले गये तो बीजेपी के विधायक नरेंद्र मेहता हार सकते हैं.

शिवसेना बीजेपी का झगडा कोलाबा सीट पर भी दिख रहा है . शिवसेना हर हाल में ये सीट चाह रही थी लेकिन बीजेपी ने नही दी और टिकट एनसीपी से आये राहुल नार्वेकर को दे दी . राहुल मनसे मे भी रहे इसलिए उनकी शिवसेना से नही बनती .इसका फायदा कांग्रेस के अशोक भाई जगताप को मिल रहा है.

इसके अलावा मुंबादेवी में भाजपा के राजपुरोहित की टिकट कटने से राजस्थानी समाज नाराज है जिसका नुकसान भाजपा को होगा.इतना ही नहीं पीएमसी बैंक घोटाले से करीब 7 लाख मतदाता चार विधानसभाओ में प्रभावित हुए है .ये कांग्रेस को वोट भले नही दे लेकिन बीजेपी को भी वोट देने से बच रहे है. कम वोटिंग में समीकरण बदल सकते हैं. सायन कोलीवाडा .अंधेरी पूर्व . कुर्ला . घाटकोपर और मुलुंड में इसका असर दिख सकता है.

मुलुंड सीट पर छह बार विधायक रहे सरदार तारा सिंह को टिकट नही दी गयी जिससे भाजपा की अंदरुनी लडाई सतह पर आ गयी है इसी तरह पूर्व मंत्री प्रकाश मेहता नही चाहते कि घाटकोपर से उनकी सीट पर कोई और जीतकर जाये .

अब शुक्रवार को मुंबई में उदधव ठाकरे और पीएम मोदी की संयुक्त रैली करके मैसेज देने की कोशिश हो रही है लेकिन कहीं देर ना हो जाये . क्योकि कार्यकर्ती दोनों के आपस में अदावत से आगे दुशमनी तक जा रहे हैं.
