SJVN Limited has been honored by the Government of Himachal Pradesh for its significant contribution to the National Tuberculosis Eradication Program (NTBEP). During a District Tuberculosis Committee meeting, Sh. Anupam Kashyap, Deputy Commissioner of Shimla, presented an Appreciation Letter and a memento to Sh. Awadhesh Prasad, General Manager (CSR) at SJVN.
SJVN has sanctioned ₹42.54 lakh to the Government of Himachal Pradesh for the procurement of nutrition kits under the ‘Ni-Kshay Mitra’ campaign, which is a part of NTBEP. These kits will be distributed to TB-affected individuals across all blocks in District Shimla. This initiative underscores SJVN’s commitment to supporting public health initiatives and contributing to the eradication of tuberculosis in the region.
